As a child I never like eating my vegetables. No matter how much my mother tried to make me eat them, I found veggies repulsive. I thought maybe I would like them more as I grew up, but that was just not the case. I knew I had to do something health wise. Now don't get me wrong I do like some veggies now. For me and my son, I blend veggies up as smoothies to help us digest them easily. I know you would not believe this, but I was once upon a time a vegetarian. Once I got pregnant my body rejected veggies with a passion and craved meat. I am not sure if I was not vegan long enough or the body wants what it wants. Anyhow, I say all that to say create a smoothie by blending beets, pears, blueberry, apples and pomegranate juice together. Add lemon to preserve juice nutrients. This juice will help detox your body and provide you with much needed antioxidants. I have many more recipes where that came from just ask or feel free to share your own experience and recipes.
